Due to expansion, we from Runners' lab Athletics Team are looking for an additional trainer (M/F) to coach our Youth Team.
What is Runners' lab Athletics Team Youth Team:
The Youth Team is an athletics training program aimed at motivated youth athletes (U13 - U18), who have a passion for long distance running, within the operation of the Runners' lab Athletics Team. Our continuing education program is open to motivated competitive athletes from all athletic clubs.
Our ambition is to train these youth athletes to become high-level distance runners and also contribute to their personal development as human beings. With our continuing education, we push very hard for professionalism combined with fun and passion for the sport.
With the Runners' lab Athletics Team Youth Team, we patiently and step by step build our athletes' athletic careers. We work in a professional environment where the youth athletes are inspired by the top athletes of the Runners' lab Athletics Team.
From the candidate trainer we expect:
- An athletic trainer who knows the basics of distance running to accompany our Youth Team on Sunday training (give running technique session + follow up training). This training always starts at 10h00 in Huizingen and ends around 11h30.
- Following up with the athletes throughout the week (setting up schedules, asking for feedback on workouts, keeping track of combination sports - school)
- At least a degree in Initiator
- Presence at annual events such as the Youth Clinic, Youth Internship and the annual info day
- Commitment to coming to training regularly and keeping the group motivated
