In 2020, the Runners' lab Athletics Team, the first professional running team in Belgium, was founded. With their professional operation, they caused a turning point in the Belgian athletics world.

As of 2025, running specialist Runners' lab has taken full ownership of this project, with the goal of providing the best possible support to athletes. In addition to financial resources, Runners' lab also provides athletes with scientific, biomechanical expertise and brand-independent equipment. In this way, athletes can get the most out of their sport.

The company of Koen Wilssens, himself a former top athlete, also gives the athletes on the team the freedom to chart their own path to sporting highlights.
